Happy World Animal Day 100th Anniversary!

Dear animal friends and colleagues,

CEWS & IAFAF are thrilled to mark the momentous 100th Anniversary of World Animal Day.

WAD is a global celebration for all animals, originating in England 100 years ago on October 4th. This date was chosen as it coincides with the birthday of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals. WAD exists to raise the status and improve the welfare of all animals.

We are celebrating this wonderful day and would like to share it with you, as well as thank you for your ongoing support of our projects abroad.
